There's One, and There's Another One!

Those were the first words out of my doctors mouth while preforming my first ultrasound!! Why did he say that? Well I had already expressed my concern of having twins since that seems to be the new trend now :) See, I work at City National Bank and I am the 3rd person to have twins! One set was born in May, and the other set made their arrival in August! Pretty crazy?!?! So from day one of finding out I was pregnant, the thought of twins never left my mind. But I think I just kept trying to talk myself out of it, twins aren't in my family, 2 girls I work with having twins, strange but it wont happen to me... well boy was I wrong! Oh my, I just about fell off the ultrasound table when I saw 2 little babies swimming around in my belly! I can't really describe the thoughts/ feelings running through my mind... shocked, scared, excited, overwhelmed, automatic concern that they stay safe and cozy as long as possible! Of course my husband and I couldn't wait to get home to let our family know, we knew they weren't going to believe us!!

I have been to the doctor twice now, we got to see them again during an ultrasound, and they still look good and healthy! Their heartbeats were nice and strong and my next visit we get to find out boys, girls, one of each!! I'm hoping for one of each, however any combination of healthy babies will be completely fine with me! I still have a long way to go but I just cant wait to hold, cuddle, nurse, kiss, and love on my sweet babies!

My First Official Blog!

Hello all! So I after reading numerous blogs written by friends and family, I figured it was finally time to start my own. So bare with me, I'm a newbie :) Now where do I begin??? Ok, I will just start from the beginning of my adult life... I have been happily married to my husband Mike for 7 years, we have a son Cash, and 2 (yes you read that right, TWO babies on the way)!! Our twins will be here sometime in February. We live in a cozy little home in Ashland, with 2 cats Mr. Kittles and Brutus, and a dog named Sammy. Sounds like a zoo, huh?? LOL!! Although there are days I feel a bit like a zookeeper, I wouldn't trade any of it for the world!
